How we handle personal information, and what this website does and does not collect.
Integri Consulting Pty Ltd(“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Cookies and analytics
Nothing is tracked unless you agree to it. When you first visit, we ask whether you are willing to allow analytics cookies. Until you accept, no analytics code is loaded at all and no request is made to Google. If you decline, or simply ignore the question, the site works exactly the same.
If you accept
We load Google Analytics 4, which measures things like which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and roughly where in the world they are. It sets cookies in your browser named _ga and _ga_<id>, used to tell repeat visits apart. We have IP anonymisation switched on, and we do not enable Google’s advertising or personalisation features, so this data is not used to build advertising profiles.
Google processes this information on our behalf, including on servers in the United States. You can read how Google handles it in their privacy policy, and you can block it across every site you visit with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Changing your mind
You can change your answer at any time using the Cookie choices link in the footer of any page. Declining also deletes any analytics cookies already set.
Other storage we use
Two small items are kept in your browser’s local storage. They are not cookies, are never sent to us or to anyone else, and exist only to make the site behave sensibly:
- Your answer to the cookie question, so we do not ask again on every page.
- Your light or dark theme preference, if you change it from your device’s setting.
We use no advertising pixels, no session recording, and no social media embeds.
What we collect
Information you give us
If you complete the enquiry form on our contact page, we collect the name, email address, phone number (if you provide one) and the content of the message you send. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to provide the services you have asked about.
You do not have to identify yourself to browse this site. If you would rather not use the form, you can contact us directly at contact form or call +61 450 217 055.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs when a page is requested. These may include your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and your browser and device type. We use these only for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it for marketing. We use a small number of service providers to run this website:
- Vercelhosts the website and processes server logs. Our site’s server functions run in Vercel’s Sydney region.
- Resenddelivers enquiry form submissions to us by email. Messages sent through the form are processed in Resend’s Tokyo region.
- WebsitePulse provides the uptime badge shown in our footer. Because the badge is loaded from their servers, your IP address and browser details are visible to them when a page loads, in the same way as for any externally hosted image.
- Google provides Analytics, but only if you have accepted analytics cookies as described above.
We may also disclose personal information where we are required or authorised to do so by law.
Overseas disclosure
As set out above, some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in Japan and the United States. In particular, if you accept analytics cookies, Google may process your information in the United States. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers, but by using this website and its enquiry form you acknowledge that your information may be handled overseas.
How we store and protect it
This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Enquiries reach us by email and are retained in our mail system for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to meet our record-keeping obligations. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Accessing and correcting your information
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us at contact page and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to verify your identity first.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at contact page so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
