I’m Jamie, founder of Integri Consulting and a functional safety specialist with more than 20 years of experience supporting mining, oil & gas, process industries and other high-hazard operations.
My expertise spans autonomous and tele-remote systems, including autonomous haulage, drilling and dozing technologies, as well as safety-critical control systems, process facilities and complex industrial infrastructure. I have worked across the full functional safety lifecycle, helping organisations identify and manage risk while delivering practical, reliable and compliant solutions.
As a participant in the international committees responsible for IEC 61508 and IEC 61511, contributor to Global Mining Guidelines Group (GMG) guidance initiatives, and author of published technical papers, I remain actively involved in shaping industry best practice in functional safety and risk management.
Supported by a Master’s degree in Process Safety and postgraduate studies in Complex Systems at MIT, I provide independent, practical and standards-aligned advice that helps operators, OEMs and system integrators deploy new technologies safely, manage risk with confidence, and improve the reliability and performance of their operations.
